The laboratory is equipped to develop practices related to Chemistry, Biology and Geology. It is a space open to experimentation through the application of the scientific method in its different stages. Empirical work develops observation, the ability to wait and analyze, assess and compare results with established hypotheses.
We are fortunate to go down to the laboratory very often throughout the week so that the students can work on real projects and develop scientific awareness. Autonomy in the laboratory is something for which we work every time that children come to develop a project.
To do this, safety standards are reviewed, as well as the way to develop the project following the steps of the scientific method or the steps created by both teachers and students. As they spend more time in the lab, the children gain confidence and skills so that they can begin to do research by themselves.
